One of the most significant differences involves the migration routes and estimated time periods associated with movement from modern-day Khartoum in east-central Africa into Asia Minor. Research suggests that the migration of descendants associated with the maternal lineage, often referred to as “Eve,” appears to have occurred later than comparable migration patterns identified through male yDNA ancestry studies.
